We have the best update to share: Sassy has officially been adopted!

At 8 years old, Sassy came to us as the longest resident at Wright-Way Rescue. After originally coming from Chicago Animal Care and Control, she had spent far too long waiting for someone to finally choose her.

Sassy needed a little extra support along the way. With sensitive skin requiring ongoing medication and a special diet, we wanted to help remove some of the barriers standing between her and a forever home.

And now, her wait is finally over.

Sassy has a family of her own.

This is exactly why Rescue Reset Project exists. Sometimes an animal just needs a little extra help, resources, and a community willing to believe their story isn’t over yet.

To everyone who donated, shared Sassy’s story, followed her journey, or helped her along the way, thank you. Every bit of support helped give this sweet girl the second chance she deserved.

Sassy’s reset is complete, and now she gets to start the best chapter yet: forever. 🐾❤️
